Learn to Dive: Ages 5-18Sports, Health & Fitness***Prerequisites: Must be confident swimmer in deep water. Age is not as important as willingness to try new things.*** Learn basic springboard diving skills, diving safety, and how to use the diving board with proper technique. You'll increase your flexibility and have lots of fun! Beginning divers with little or no previous instruction are welcome. During this class, divers will learn the fundamentals of diving including: front approach with hurdle, front dive, back press, back dive, inward dive, front somersault. Often divers will take this class more than one time to achieve proficiency in the skills expected in Intermediate Diving. When the diver is ready to move to Intermediate, coaches will move them up even during the middle of a session. In this supervised setting, students will participate in a mix of competitive, creative, and cooperative games that encourage teamwork, communication, and positive sportsmanship. LinkUp Summer UnifiedArt, Theater, Music & CreativityLinkUp Summer Unified is a new Unified activity created specifically for high school students. It brings Unified students together in a fun, welcoming environment where everyone belongs and can have fun together! Through crafts, games, and interactive group experiences, students continue to build meaningful friendships and lasting connections with friends from school. Led by student leaders, the three-hour program promotes inclusion, teamwork, and respect. High school students who were in grades 9-12 during the 2025-2026 school year are invited to participate! Edina Community Ed “Unified” camps blend students with special needs and students who are more typically developing to explore art, theater, fitness and more.
