Age is not as important as willingness to try new things.*** Learn basic springboard diving skills, diving safety, and how to use the diving board with proper technique. You'll increase your flexibility and have lots of fun! Beginning divers with little or no previous instruction are welcome. During this class, divers will learn the fundamentals of diving including: front approach with hurdle, front dive, back press, back dive, inward dive, front somersault. Often divers will take this class more than one time to achieve proficiency in the skills expected in Intermediate Diving. When the diver is ready to move to Intermediate, coaches will move them up even during the middle of a session. Students will learn the basics of a classical ballet class. They will learn about different classical ballet's and learn movements from those ballet's. Attire: Bring ballet shoes or socks. Students should wear what they feel most comfortable wearing, we suggest something able to move in, and so the instructor can still see the line of the body. (leggings, shorts, tank tops are all options also if student is uncomfortable in a leotard and tights.) Girls/Ladies: leotard (solid color) pink tights pink leather or canvas ballet slippers* no attached or separate skirts (except 20yrs or older) Boys/Men: white form fitting t-shirt black biker shorts or leggings, or black tights white or black leather or canvas ballet slippers (thin white ankle/knee socks can also be worn) Hair: ALL hair should be secured off the face and longer hair in a pony tail or bun. Level Up Club is a fun and engaging after-school program designed for students to connect, play, and grow through age-appropriate video games. In this supervised setting, students will participate in a mix of competitive, creative, and cooperative games that encourage teamwork, communication, and positive sportsmanship. Through structured play, children will learn important social skills such as taking turns, respecting others, and handling both winning and losing in a healthy way.
