    HORNET TENNIS CAMP'S goal is to provide high-quality instruction in a fun atmosphere primarily for novice and intermediate tennis players. Current and former Edina High School players work with campers in a positive, encouraging and fun manner. Camp is designed to teach fundamentals, rules and etiquette through fun drills and contests while promoting good sportsmanship and kindness to others. Our camp format maintains a low ratio of 4-8 campers per coach to promote a personalized experience. The extended camp time also allows for match play activities.     Does your child enjoy swimming, dancing, gymnastics, music and theater? Come try synchronized swimming and learn the basics from experienced coaches and swimmer volunteers. Swimmers will learn basic synchronized swimming skills and be able to perform a short routine by the end! Swimmers must be completely independent in the pool in both the shallow and deep ends.

    Introduce your young athlete to the excitement of basketball. Through age-appropriate drills and mini-games, players will learn dribbling, shooting, and passing in a supportive, upbeat environment. Students will enhance hand-eye coordination and build confidence in their athletic abilities.

    Please note there are two separate sessions, the Skills session and the League. The skills session runs from 9:00am to 10:30am and the League runs from 10:30am to 12:00pm. If your child is signed up for both they are allowed to stay during the break. If you only sign up for one program participants will need to be picked up at the end of their session. Skills sessionThis 90 minute skills session will be led by current and former college and professional basketball players. Skills include shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, ball handling, finishing around the rim, passing, defensive breakdowns, and more!Summer LeagueThe second 90 minutes of the day will be designed specifically for 5 on 5 play. Each player will get put on a team with a coach and will play 12 minute 5 on 5 games. Will be a great way for kids to compete in a tournament style. Will have weekly winner/prizes at the end of each week Please note: For classes week of 6/22, registration closes on 6/17 due to district closures for Juneteenth. We apologize for any inconvenience this variance may cause.

    Disc Golf: Gr. 6-8

    In this class, kids will learn the basics of disc golf. We will practice throwing, putting, scoring, and course etiquette while building accuracy, strategy, and teamwork. Perfect for beginners who want to get outside and discover a new sport! On our last day of class (Thursday) we will be having an alternate drop off/pick up at Rosland Park (4300 W 66th St, Edina, MN 55435). We will be playing on the 9-hole disc golf course at the park for the last day of class! It will be a fun opportunity to implement some of the skills we will be practicing in the prior classes.     In this class, kids will play a variety of classic and new schoolyard games that will keep them moving, learning, and having fun! We will play a large variety of different games each day. From 4 square to gaga ball to capture the flag!

    Summer Golf Camp: Gr. K-5

    This camp is an opportunity for juniors to learn the fundamentals of the game of golf in a fun, easy-going environment. It is open to juniors of all skill sets, and it is encouraged to have friends sign up to join the camp as well. We will be focusing on all areas of the game (putting, chipping, pitch shot, full swings) and the goal is for the junior to leave the camp with more confidence, knowledge, and excitement within the game of golf. Students must bring their own golf clubs, snacks, and beverages. If the student needs to borrow a set of golf clubs, please inform the instructor, Collin Anderson (cjanderson@pga.com).

    Get ready to train like a Hornet in Coach Stephens and Coach Hartley's Football Camp! Coaches Stephens and Coach Hartley, freshman coaches for the Hornets, bring energy, experience, and a love for the game to every session—creating a supportive environment where players of all skill levels can improve, compete, and have fun. This engaging camp focuses on building football fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence both on and off the field. Participants will learn essential skills such as passing, catching, footwork, and defensive techniques through fun drills, mini-games, and team challenges. Lace up and join the Hornet tradition of excellence!
  • Gymnastics III- Half Day: Gr. 2-8

    Come have fun with the Edina Gymnastics team while we jump and flip into the end of summer! Beginner gymnasts will learn basic gymnastics skills, while returning gymnasts will build off of the skills they were working on last session! We center our camps around safety and fun, and we welcome all ability levels! Classes are run by a head coach of the Edina Gymnastics team, and some of the Edina High Schools gymnasts!

  • Girls on the Rise- Fitness & Wellness Camp: Gr. 3-5

    This fun and empowering camp helps girls build confidence, strength, and healthy habits in a supportive environment. Campers will enjoy age-appropriate fitness activities that involve cardio stations, light strength training, yoga, meditation and team challenges while learning some basics of wellness, mindfulness and self-care. Each day focuses on moving our bodies, boosting self-esteem and practicing teamwork in a cooperative setting. No prior fitness experience needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to have fun! Registration Deadline Registration closes at 11:55 PM the Thursday before the start date. On the final day of the program, there will be a tournament styled session where the athletes will be able to compete with their newly learned skills!

  • DASH Multisport & Games Full Day Camp: Gr. K-5

    DASH Sports Summer FULL DAY Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours learning and practicing each sport per day. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports including: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and more! Also included daily are fun games such as Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and more! Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, lunch, two snacks, and athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided.

    Join the Edina High School Lacrosse Team for a fun morning of lacrosse! Hornets coaches and athletes will lead this clinic for all lacrosse players, regardless of skill level!
