  • Hornet HOT SHOTS: Track & Field Edition! Gr. K-5

    HORNET HOT SHOTS: TRACK & FIELD EDITION is a high-energy program consisting of 3 Saturday track & field clinics and culminating with a live track meet at Kuhlman Stadium. Led by Jonathan Buckley (Valley View Middle School Track & Field Coach) and Jennifer Harrits (South View Track & Field Coach), team athletes and coaches will deliver engaging, instructive, positive, energetic and fun clinics teaching fundamental track & field skills culminating with an official gameday track meet for all participants.   • DASH NFL Flag Football League: Gr. 2

    DASH Sports Official NFL Flag Football League: This is a 6-week flag football league that includes 30 minutes of practice followed by a 1-hour game each Saturday for a total of 6 practices and 6 games. League format is 5 vs 5, recreational, non-contact where players will receive equitable playing time. Trophies will be awarded to the top team in each age group at the conclusion of the league. This league is for players in 2nd GRADE for the 2025-2026 school year. The 2nd GRADE league games will begin at 1:45pm, with warm-up time from 1:15-1:45pm. Games are held on the EHS Upper Turf Field at the Edina High School. Players will receive official NFL Flag Football Jerseys and flag belts that they keep. All games will have hired referees and scores & standings will be recorded and posted weekly at www.dashsports.us Parents/Coaches are welcome to put together their own roster of players or if you do not have a team, you may register as an individual. All parents who are organizing a team should e-mail their rosters to josh@dashsports.us. If you register as an individual, you will be placed on a team, and we will do our best to accommodate any friend requests and/or group children by school. This league requires parents to volunteer as coaches, and we will provide the coaches with resources such as: on-line coach training, playbooks, and footballs to help run a successful season.     DASH Sports Cheer camps provide athletes with an introduction to cheerleading. Campers will learn several cheers with focus on body control, jumping, and proper hand movements. Emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude! This camp runs simultaneously with our NFL Flag Football League on Saturdays and includes practice time each day and also the opportunity to cheer and display routines on the sidelines at the games! This camp includes a DASH Sports t-shirt and also poms that the participants will keep.

  • Kickball Bonanza: Gr. K-5

    4 games in one! Come and enjoy a four-week outdoor course where we play a different version of kickball each week. Rain or shine, dress for the game. We will emphasize fun, flexibility and inclusion in this course. Join Highlands teachers Mary-Jo Rochester and Shaun Pakenham to unleash high energy and accomplish a good time.   • DASH Flag Football Camp: Gr. K-5

    DASH Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats and mouth guards are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided.
  • DASH SNAG Golf: Gr. K-3

    DASH Sports SNAG Golf provides participants instruction on golf fundamentals using the Starting New At Golf (SNAG) program. Putting, chipping, pitching, and driving the ball work with this adapted equipment developed with a youngster's height and small hands in mind, creating a fun learning and playing experience.     Skateboarding Level 1: Ages 6-18

    In this class our main focus is working on our foundation. Foot placement, pushing/riding, Riding ramps and turning. Let’s learn how to feel comfortable on our boards! We provide helmets and skateboards for all students but they are welcome to bring their own. Wearing a helmet is required. Knee pads and elbow pads are optional but not provided. All participants must have a signed online waiver by a parent or guardian. You can find that link, here. By the end of this class riders will be able to comfortably push and ride their boards on flat ground and up and down ramps. These classes are geared to help gymnasts progress, whether it be individual skills or preparing them for competition.   • High School Gymnastics: Gr. 7-12

    The High School Gymnastics Summer practices are intended for students taking part in their respective high school's gymnastics program. Gymnasts will work on skill development, routine composition (including looking at event requirements, bonus opportunities, etc). These practices will help the gymnasts stay active throughout the summer! They will be able to get additional gym time before the upcoming season, and have fun with their friends! The class is open to any high school gymnasts in the area, and will be coached by the Edina High School gymnastics coaches. Note: These are NOT open gyms format classes, they are instructed.

    Learn to Dive: Ages 5-18

    ***Prerequisites: Must be confident in deep water. Age is not as important as willingness to try new things.*** Learn basic springboard diving skills, diving safety, and how to use the diving board with proper technique. You'll increase your flexibility and have lots of fun! Beginning divers with little or no previous instruction are welcome. During this class, divers will learn the fundamentals of diving including: front approach with hurdle, front dive, back press, back dive, inward dive, front somersault. Often divers will take this class more than one time to achieve proficiency in the skills expected in Intermediate Diving. When the diver is ready to move to Intermediate, coaches will move them up even during the middle of a session.
