***Prerequisites: Must be confident in deep water. Age is not as important as willingness to try new things.*** Learn basic springboard diving skills, diving safety, and how to use the diving board with proper technique. You'll increase your flexibility and have lots of fun! Beginning divers with little or no previous instruction are welcome. During this class, divers will learn the fundamentals of diving including: front approach with hurdle, front dive, back press, back dive, inward dive, front somersault. Often divers will take this class more than one time to achieve proficiency in the skills expected in Intermediate Diving. When the diver is ready to move to Intermediate, coaches will move them up even during the middle of a session. Intermediate Diving: Ages 5-18
***Prerequisites: Must be proficient in front approach with hurdle, front dive, back dive, inward dive, front 1 somersault. Age is less important than proficiency in the noted skills.*** If you already have some springboard diving experience, you can continue to build on the skills you've learned in earlier classes. Intermediate divers will be encouraged to try reverse dives, somersaults in all directions, twisting dives, etc. Often divers will take this class more than one time to achieve proficiency in the skills expected in Competitive Diving. Disc Golf: Gr. 6-8
In this class, kids will learn the basics of disc golf. We will practice throwing, putting, scoring, and course etiquette while building accuracy, strategy, and teamwork. Perfect for beginners who want to get outside and discover a new sport! On our last day of class (Thursday) we will be having an alternate drop off/pick up at Rosland Park (4300 W 66th St, Edina, MN 55435). We will be playing on the 9-hole disc golf course at the park for the last day of class! It will be a fun opportunity to implement some of the skills we will be practicing in the prior classes. Campers will be able to choose events to focus on and practice in preparation for the camp track meet. This program is designed for all levels of track athletes from someone looking to get in better shape and learn about track to those who want to achieve their peak performance in a competitive environment. Camp will conclude with a track meet that will mirror an official middle school/high school track meet experience, providing all participants a chance to compete in multiple events of their choice. Snag Golf Camp: Gr. K-3
DASH Sports SNAG Golf Summer camps provide participants instruction on golf fundamentals using the Starting New At Golf (SNAG) program. Putting, chipping, pitching, and driving the ball work with this adapted equipment developed with a youngster's height and small hands in mind, creating a fun learning and playing experience. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring water and a snack. All equipment is provided. -

Whether you’re new to ballet or have previous experience, you’re welcome to join us!Learning basic, fundamental ballet movement and terminology through creative exercises, students will also develop age-appropriate motor skills and musicality (building on elements learned in Fundamentals I), while infusing elements that will prepare them for the traditional ballet class format. Fundamentals I is not a required prerequisite: new and returning students are welcome. -
Beginning Boxing: Ages 7-12
Beginning boxing will teach kids the basic fundamentals of boxing along with the mental and emotional character building components that come with learning this discipline. Kids will learn footwork, hand eye coordination, punching combinations, working on the punching bags, strength training, conditioning, agility, understanding range and using their limbs in space, reaction time, and the art of avoidance through instinct and prediction. Kids will work to achieve the confidence to play a game of tag in boxing by the end of overall class duration which is simulated sparring without using a closed fist but still utilizes the superior skill and IQ they have learned in all of the classes that is needed to defend themselves and confidently be in the ring as a boxer. These physical goals and aims for the class are only possible if the kids are working on and towards being more confident, patient, management of emotions as boxing can not be achieved in an angry or upset state of mind or mood, calm, pause, and the ability slow things down mentally and emotionally. Boxing is taught in a class form but it is a solo sport and each individual will progress at their own speed and be able to take on as much or as little as they want and/oe require. *Please note, a parent/guardian will need to complete a waiver for people participating in this class. The first day you arrive at their site for class, you are able to fill one out. -
