Students will enjoy this class consisting of mindful yoga postures and movement using the breath. The class sequence will help build strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, clarity, and focus. There will be a flow of yoga poses, as well as holding of postures that will help energize the body and also provide opportunity to calm the mind and rest. Yoga teachings and philosophy will be interwoven into each class providing a rich backdrop. There will be modifications given throughout class to help poses be more comfortable and accessible, as well as to intensify certain postures. Students at any ability level are welcome. Course update: Due to an ongoing health issue, Edith Mancini will be teaching this class for Preethi. Edith Mancini is a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor with over 20 years practicing. She is a registered yoga teacher with a 200-hour yoga certification and an additional 100-hour Yin Yoga certification.At the core of Edith's teaching philosophy is the belief that yoga can be a pathway to inner peace and harmony.
