Early Learning and Family Center Preschool (PreK programming)The Edina Early Learning and Family Center's PreK programs offer a play-based learning environment that helps students grow, learn and develop physically, socially, emotionally, in language and literacy and in thinking (cognitive) skills. Curriculum is designed to help students meet the State of Minnesota Early Learning Standards. Half Day PreKOur half day preK program is designed for families seeking a balanced, enriching educational experience for their young learners within a shorter time frame. With a focus on social-emotional, emergent literacy and numeracy skills, our half day program provides children with engaging, play-based learning activities in a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence. Prices listed include a daily snack and all class materials and supplies. Full Day PreK Our full day preK program is designed for families seeking a balanced, enriching educational experience for their young learners for a six hour day. The full day program provides a more in-depth focus on social-emotional, emergent literacy and numeracy skills, through our play based learning activities in a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence. In addition, students will eat lunch and have movement breaks throughout their day. Prices listed include lunch, snack, and all class materials and supplies. Little Kids Club Childcare for Preschoolers (school year)Do you need childcare for your child before or after preschool? We’ve created flexible options just for you! Your child will be escorted by classroom staff to/from the childcare space when you add this option to your weekly schedule. Children enrolled in childcare enjoy a variety of age-appropriate academic and play-based activities. Students enjoy playground/gym time, creative art projects, circle time, and self-directed play. Quiet body time occurs and snack is provided each afternoon. Children must be registered for an Early Learning and Family Center preschool class to be eligible. Full-day monthly tuition cap (2026-27 school year)We are thrilled to offer a monthly tuition cap for our full-day preK families. Affordable childcare options are available with tuition that will not exceed $1,720 per month per student (combined preschool and childcare fees). Families can choose the childcare schedule that works best for them while staying within their budget. Register for the childcare schedule that meets your family needs. After registration, our office will adjust your account to apply the monthly cap. Summer Little Kids Club Childcare New for Summer 2026, join us for all day childcare for three and four-year olds (33 months as of 6/1/2026) at the Early Learning and Family Center. Our full day summer program that runs from 7:30am to 5:30pm offers a blend of fun-filled experiences and meaningful academic enrichment, creating the perfect balance for growing minds. Deanna Constantine: Deanna follows in the footsteps of her parents, the renowned Minnesota dance instructors Dean and Mary Constantine. Deanna grew up helping in the family business and spent much of her childhood training in ballroom dancing and classical ballet. She shares her passion for dance by conducting group classes and private lessons in communities throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. She contracts with park & recreation and community education programs to make learning to dance more accessible and affordable to her students. She strives to make classes fun and easy, so all her students experience success! She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of MN. Edina Fiddle Camp! Gr. 7-12Art, Theater, Music & CreativityAre you taking your violin, viola, cello, or bass to camp this summer? Or will you be surrounded by friends and family over the 4th of July with everyone asking you to play a song? Or do you want to show off your chops by learning how to chop (a technique used to create a percussive sound on your string instrument) like a pro! This summer, the Edina Orchestra Program is happy to launch its first ever "Edina Fiddle Camp" for students in middle and high school who have prior knowledge of how to play their violin, viola, cello, or upright bass! We'll learn tunes by ear (supported by sheet music if needed), how to harmonize a melody, how to lay down a bass line, and how all string instruments can cut loose and jam using bluegrass, old-timey, Celtic, and traditional folk music. Seasoned fiddlers welcomed! Requirements:• Participants must have an instruments they can use (exceptions for bass players pending enrollment)• Participants must have basic knowledge of how to play their instrument with a bow• Participants must be willing to learn to play music by ear Registration Deadline Registration closes at 11:55 PM the Thursday before the start date. Edina Gymnastics: Gr. 2-7Sports, Health & FitnessCalling all HORNET gymnasts - Come do gymnastics in the Edina gymnastics gym! Edina Gymnastics is designed to provide a flexible, more affordable option for gymnastics while catering to the needs of each individual gymnast and family. Whether your gymnast is preparing to join high school gymnastics, or an elementary school student looking for a low pressure experience, this is a great option! Gymnasts will be thoughtfully placed in a group during practice, where they can best succeed. Our coaching team is composed of high school/college aged veteran coaches who have been involved with our program for some time, plus adult coaches who are currently coaching the Edina Gymnastics program. Gymnasts will be able to build their skills, compose routines, and feel like they are part of a team!
