From Bricks to Bots- Your LEGO Coding Quest with Mme West: Gr. 2-5
What if your LEGO creations could move, think, and solve problems? In this hands-on class, you’ll build amazing models and bring them to life by creating simple coding sequences for LEGO robots. Using the LEGO® Education curriculum, you’ll explore fun, story-based challenges that help you think like a real engineer. You’ll test ideas, fix designs, and invent creative solutions as you improve your builds. Along the way, you’ll grow your confidence in STEAM skills like coding, problem-solving, and teamwork. Get ready to imagine, experiment, and turn your ideas into action—one brick at a time!

Lynnea West
Instructor
Lynnea West is the amazing librarian at Normandale Elementary French Immersion School! She works hard to make sure kids get a super interesting, helpful, and challenging education so they can be great citizens. She loves bringing teachers, students, and everyone in the community together to make learning even better.
Lynnea especially loves helping with reading, writing, and language. She cares about making learning fair for everyone, using technology in fun ways, and helping teachers learn new things. In her library classes, Lynnea focuses on the four Cs: talking and sharing (communication), working together (collaboration), coming up with new ideas (creativity), and solving problems (critical thinking).
