Daily Independent Life Skills: Gr. 6-8

In this class, students will learn skills that will set them up for success for years to come, aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and independent living abilities

Class topics will include:

• Personal care management
• Self-advocacy
• Decision-making
• Household maintenance
• Time management
• Home & school etiquette

This is a combined class for both South View and Valley View students, taking place at the Edina Community Center. Students from Valley View Middle School can take Shuttle Bus 25 to the Edina Community Center. View the Shuttle Bus schedule HERE. Please note- Edina Community Education is not responsible for any student who misses the shuttle bus.

Registration Deadline

Registration for all class sessions closes 3 business days before the start date.

If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
