Join EPS teachers as we explore the amazing world of music! Edina Community Ed “Unified” camps blend students with special needs and students who are more typically developing to explore art, theater, fitness and more. Our goal is to create a community of individuals, both with and without disabilities, devoted to awareness, advocacy, leadership and empathy through authentic relationship-building experiences. --- Unified Lottery Registration Process Our goal as a department and district is to provide a registration process for Unified that is equitable for families and administratively manageable, while also maximizing opportunities for students to participate in Unified programing. Class Request/Acceptance Process Registration requests must be submitted for each Unified class your student is interested in attending. Families will register students only for classes on weeks they are able to attend. Families will be given a two-week window to submit registration requests. Registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis. If more registrations are requested than available for a specific class, a random computerized lottery, with no preference for registration request date, will be held for that class. On the first round of class lotteries, each student will be allowed a maximum of two enrollments, at which point they will be removed from further lottery assignments. An individual lottery will be run for each class, chronologically by class start date. Once the lottery has been run for each class, if there are still class enrollment slots available, the lottery process will be repeated to allow for up to three (3) enrollments per student. This pattern will continue until all available spots are filled. Waitlists will be kept for each class once all spots are filled. Class Registration Window Registration requests must be submitted during the established two-week window in order to be included in the lottery. Summer 2026 Registration request window: February 10, 8:00am - February 23, 11:59pm Registration acceptance/waitlist notification will be sent out via email by March 6. Registration fees will be charged at the time of registration acceptance. Registration Deadline Registration closes at 11:55 PM the Thursday before the start date.
