Savor Delightful Appetizers - Intergenerational
Enter the vibrant world of Indian street food with Savor in this interactive, hands-on appetizer class focused on delicious street style cooking. Together, we’ll create three crowd-favorite dishes: Samosa Puffs with flaky pastry and warmly spiced potato and peas, filling; Corn Chaat, a bright and zesty mix of sweet corn tossed with fresh herbs, spices, and add-ins like onions, tomatoes, and sev (lentil noodles); and Dahi Puri, crisp hollow puris layered with savory fillings like potatoes, chickpeas/mung beans, creamy yogurt top with both sweet (red) and spicy (green) chutneys.
In this class, you’ll learn essential techniques such as working with puff pastry for perfectly crisp results, building balanced chaat flavors with tangy, sweet, and spicy elements, and assembling visually stunning, flavor-packed bites like dahi puri. We’ll also cover how to prepare and use classic Indian chutneys to elevate everyday snacks.
Expect a fun cooking experience, learn tips for efficient prep, and discover how to recreate these popular street-style appetizers at home for gatherings or everyday enjoyment.
Ages 12+ are welcome to join in the cooking fun with an adult learner.
