Backyard Bug Snacks: Gr. K-3

Join local holistic nutritionist, Jackie Mart, for an educational Read Aloud and discussion about bugs! We will end the class by creating insects to devour using fruits, vegetables, and more. This might be the only time you will be allowed to play with your food! All supplies are included. On the Menu:

Jackie Mart

Jackie's holistic health and wellness path began in 2006 when she was first introduced to organic food and alternative medicine in the small town of Carroll, Iowa. She is a holistic nutritionist, life coach, motivational speaker, certified fitness instructor and owner/operator of Optimum Wellness LLC.

She battled negative body image, weight issues and an eating disorder for more than 12 years and transformed her struggles into her career and passion! Jackie's health/wellness experience includes: consulting independently, working with gyms, partnering with chiropractic/wellness clinics, natural food co-ops, schools, colleges, universities, women's and girls' retreats/workshops, personal training and yoga studios, and providing nutrition and health education virtually and in many large-group settings and businesses throughout Minnesota and Iowa. She believes the road to health always begins with self-love!
