Paper Clay Tree Ornaments - Intergenerational
Jules Bunch is committed to making their classes accessible. Their passion for these projects comes through in their generosity of offering a reduced enrollment fee if you register as a pair. they really want as many people as possible to partake in these unique projects!
Please register as a single if you are coming alone. Please register as a Pair - Shared Project if you are coming with a friend, spouse, or youth. If you are registering as a pair you will have the opportunity to share the name of your partner and if your partner is under 18 you will share their age.
In this workshop, you’ll design and handbuild your own Minnesota‑inspired holiday ornaments using paper clay — a lightweight, flexible clay body that dries naturally and resists cracking. We’ll work with pre‑tinted clays in a custom winter palette of Birch White, Juniper Blue‑Green, Dogwood Red, and Snow Shadow Blue, inspired by local botanicals and snowy landscapes. You’ll learn simple shaping and texturing techniques to create impressions of local winter botanicals and wildlife-inspired stamps, then finish your pieces with optional watercolor washes for soft winter accents. Each participant will leave with 2–3 feather‑light ornaments ready to hang or gift.
12 years and older may attend with an adult. Over 15 may attend on their own.
Please read our Adult Programming Overview page for all info regarding registration, cancellation, and building info.
