Be Your Best Self! Bilingual French Class: Gr. 4-6
Kids aren’t perfect—and they’re not meant to be. This class helps children build the emotional and social skills they need to cultivate self-control, navigate social interactions, and show up as their best selves. Through fun, age-appropriate, and real-life scenarios and activities, children will:
- Learn to recognize and manage emotions
- Practice healthy communication and problem-solving
- Build empathy, confidence, self-awareness, and conflict resolution skills
- Use tools that help “read the room”
- Learn calming tools for everyday challenges and setbacks
- Bridge between French and English which is a proven language immersion method to promote comprehension and transfer vocabulary building.

Kany Seck
Dr. Kany Seck holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and has spent a good part of the last 30 years teaching more than a thousand students, including student teachers. As both an educator and a parent of three, she is deeply committed to supporting the whole child.
She is offering a bilingual elementary enrichment course designed to help children build resilience, confidence, problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and curiosity. Her engaging, age-appropriate approach empowers children with practical tools to navigate challenges, build strong relationships, and grow into confident, capable individuals.
