OK Summer Jazz Band: Gr. 8-10

OK Summer Jazz will explore and perform a variety of familiar rock, jazz, and funk tunes. We’ll also spend time on soloing and guided listening to jazz legends. Open to all jazz band students entering grades 8-10 in Fall 2026. Previous jazz experience is preferred, but not required. A concert will be held on the day of the final session (June 25). Piano players must be able to play two hands at the same time. Bass players must be able to read bass music.

Rhythm section filled on a first come first served basis. Registration for the percussion section is now CLOSED (updated April 13th, 2026).
