Youth Summer 2026
Into The Woods is a nature-based play experience that encourages curiosity, exploration and resilience. Kids will have the opportunity to build forts, climb trees and create their own play adventures in the sensory-rich great outdoors. Each day will feature a theme designed to inspire their play. Into The Woods allows kids to pretend, get muddy and play at their own pace, all while developing important life skills and lasting memories!
NOTE: We will spend the entire day outside!

My name is Jonah Popehn and I have worked at Edina Kids Club for 25 years. I specialize in leading nature experiences and outdoor learning at Highlands Elementary School. I grew up on a hobby farm and spent my childhood exploring the woods. My goal is to get kids outside where they use their imaginations to play and discover the wonders of our natural environment!
