OK Summer Jazz Band: Gr. 8-9

Summer Jazz will explore and perform a variety of familiar rock, jazz, and funk tunes. We’ll also spend time on soloing and guided listening to jazz legends. Come learn more about jazz and have fun at the same time. Open to all band students entering grades 8 and 9 in Fall 2023. Previous jazz experience is preferred, but not required.

• All Band instruments welcome!
• All percussion spots are now full
• All trumpet spots are now full
• Piano players must be able to play two hands at same time.
• Bass players must be able to read bass music.
• Rhythm section filled on a first come first served basis.
