Youth Summer 2023
Experience the fun of learning new musical skills while refining the ones you already possess. Make new friends in your small ensemble groups, perform great concert and marching music, and march in the Edina 4th of July Parade. A required t-shirt is included in the tuition. Please indicate adult shirt size and instrument when registering. Co-directed by Geneva Fitzsimonds and Melody Snyder.
Instructors
Geneva Fitzsimonds
Ms. Fitzsimonds is a band teacher at Edina High School. She has been a band director for more than 25 years, nine of those with Edina Public Schools. She was named "Teacher of the Year" by the The Edina Chamber of Commerce in May 2016.
Melody Snyder
Ms. Melody Snyder has been teaching middle school band since 2005 and is currently teaching band at Valley View Middle School in Edina. She enjoys working with band students of all ages and ability levels.
