Kelle's Private Voice or Piano Lessons: Age 7+
**Registration price is for four 30-minute lessons. Participants will have to reach out to the instructor via email to schedule the lessons. You'll receive this information after you've registered for the class** You will work one on one with an experienced vocal coach and piano teacher who has taught for over 30 years. Whether you’re new to music or have taken lessons in the past, together you will design a plan that will build from the ground up or off your current musical knowledge with engaging and fun techniques. This course will address basic skills, music theory and musicality that will allow you to progress toward your musical goals and lifelong enjoyment of music. Purchase of books recommended by your teacher will be required for lessons based on individual needs. -

Mikkonen Music Lessons: Gr. 1-12
Thirty-minute music lessons in piano, guitar and ukulele are offered after school through Mikkonen Music. Lessons run continuously throughout the school year for students in grades 1-12 and meet once a week for 8-week sessions. Creek Valley Choir: Gr. 3-5
Join Creek Valley music teacher, Carah Hart, to sing varied repertoire, develop singing technique, and have fun in a community of 3rd-5th graders. We will perform in a concert at the end of the session and have optional engagements to sing the National Anthem at sporting events in the Twin Cities. Jungle Book Kids: Gr. 2-5
Students will prepare and perform a 30 minute performance of The Jungle Book. Students in second grade are welcome to participate in part of the ensemble, while students in third through fifth grade may audition for speaking roles. All students are important in creating this performance experience. All students will sing and dance during the performance! Students will rehearse at Normandale Elementary with a performance at the Edina High School Performing Arts Center (EPAC). **New this year!!! Afterschool Art - Mini Masterpieces with Mrs. Steven: Gr. 3-5
Get ready to think small and create BIG fun! In this imaginative afterschool art class, students in grades 3–5 will dive into the whimsical world of miniatures. From tiny sculptures that fit in the palm of your hand to miniature paintings and detailed micro-drawings, young artists will explore a variety of materials and techniques on a super small scale. Each week, we'll focus on a new miniature project—like sculpting a tiny meal from clay, painting a pocket-sized landscape, or drawing a whole world on a sticker! This class will be all about clay! Sculpey, Model Magic and Kiln Fired Clay will be used to create a variety of ceramic pieces to bring home including a clay cupcake, colorful monster friend and a bowl inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe Flower paintings. Calling all critter and outdoor lovers! In this sweet and fun class, students will learn how to draw, paint, and sculpt adorable woodland creatures. Foxes, Bunnies, Bears, Mice, Owls, Hedgehogs, you name it, we're creating it! Concord Drumline: Gr. 2-5
Come and join the beginning of a new-to-Edina program focusing on the development of percussionists/drummers through the thrilling and enjoyable medium of bucket drums. This introduction to percussion and performance class is great for learning the basics of rhythms, rudimentary drumming, reading music and ensemble performance. This class is perfect for all experience levels, whether your student is picking up sticks for the first time or wanting to continue their learning and performing as a drummer. At the end of the session our ensemble will perform at an all school assembly to showcase what they’ve learned.
