    Welcome to Minecraft: Education Edition where we utilize an educational version of Minecraft specifically designed for classroom use. Students will get a chance to work in teams focusing on building and problem-solving challenges! In Survival worlds, students will get to explore the skills needed to start with nothing, gradually collect and create materials to help them survive during many challenges in Minecraft. In Creative worlds, students explore cooperative creations ranging from nature to city to fantasy story type worlds. This Minecraft course will certainly be more than just placing blocks.   • Build and Code with LEGOS: Gr. 2-5

    During each lesson, students will build with LEGOs and create coding sequences for programming their little LEGO robots, then brainstorm and develop creative solutions to improve their designs. We use LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential STEAM curriculum units for students that are designed around playful themes that can develop young students into independent STEAM thinkers.
