In this beginning knitting class you will learn all the basics and come away with a small, finished project. You will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and read a basic knitting pattern so that you can continue to practice your newly acquired knitting skills at home. The $15 materials fee is included in the online price. Ages 12 + are welcome to attend with an adult. Both participants must register and pay.

Grab a friend and join us for open knitting, where you will spend a couple hours per month knitting on the project of your choice for an unstructured KAL (knit-a-long). This session is great for building community with fellow knitters and carving out dedicated time to devote to the joy of making! Some support will be available, but this is not an instructional class. Open to all skill levels but you are expected to know the basics of knitting and provide all of your own materials. However, this is a safe space to try out a new skill you've been wanting to learn. Feel free to bring your lunch or a snack. Students ages 12+ are welcome to attend with an adult.
