Boosting Math Confidence Through Gamification! with Ms. McKay: Gr. 4-5Expand Your World & EnrichmentThis interactive course, taught by EPS teacher Laure McKay, explores how gamification can make math more engaging and build student confidence. Participants will learn strategies like challenges, rewards, and collaborative play to create a supportive, low-risk learning environment. 4th and 5th grade math skills will be highlighted throughout. By the end, learners will have practical tools to increase participation, reduce math anxiety, and promote a growth mindset. String Design with Ms. Veneman and Ms. McKay: Gr. 3-5Art, Theater, Music & CreativityJoin Ms. McKay and Ms. Veneman to Thread Your Imagination! Step into the world of Paper String Art, where we turn flat sheets of cardstock into mind-bending, colorful illusions using nothing but thread and a needle. This class is all about the "wow" factor. We’ll teach you how to weave intricate webs, glowing stars, and exploding geometric shapes that look like they’re floating right off the page. It’s tactile, it’s colorful, and it’s incredibly satisfying to create. Please note- The registraiton price includes a $15 material fee, which is used to purchase needles, threaders, multiple string packs, and a frame for a final project.
