26/27 School Year- NormandaleKids Club (school age child care)School Year and Summer - School Age Child Care Program. Edina Community Ed’s Kids Club program offers a fun, engaging environment for your child that will enrich your child’s experience in Edina Public Schools. We provide a safe place for children to develop friendships and grow in confidence, independence and respect for themselves and others. Our summer program offers a balance between structured activities, supervised free choice and field trips to a variety of locations. To sign up, click on 'Account Management' to sign in to your account and enroll your child. For more information about the program, please visit the Kids Club webpage. Summer registration is temporarily closed during the School Year 2026-27 contract request lottery window. Summer registration will reopen online on April 7. Non School Days NOTE: If you would like to request a non school day only contract, registration is available and is a two-step process. First, request a non school day only contract. Then, register for specific non school days. We offer high-quality care and activities, including field trips, when school is not in session. For school year 2026-27, register your child at their regular school site. During winter break, spring break, and other select days, sites may combine based on enrollment to ensure quality programming. Families will receive at least 10 business days' notice if sites combine, as follows: Concord/Normandale at TBD Highlands/Countryside at TBD Creek Valley/Cornelia at TBD To view when care is offered on non school days and to see which sites are at capacity, please visit the Kids Club webpage. ACT Practice Test: Gr. 10-12STEMTake the first step toward higher ACT scores! We’re offering a community ACT practice test that simulates real testing conditions. This is a stress-free way to experience the ACT, discover where you stand, and create a plan for success. Students will receive their score within two weeks after the test. An optional one-on-one follow-up appointment can be scheduled to receive more detailed information on strengths and areas for improvement. This includes the science section of the test. Space is limited—reserve your spot today! On test day, bring a number 2 pencil, watch or timing device, permitted calculator, and snack to eat outside the testing room. Come discover the world of Arduino with Jules Bunch, multi-disciplinary teaching artist. Juleas has been teaching and learning the art of Arduino since discovering it during the pandemic. Bring a spooky creature to life in this hands‑on, multigenerational maker lab. This class is perfect for young coders, yet no coding experience is necessary. You’ll build your own small Halloween character—ghost, scarecrow, or another imaginative creation—and use simple Arduino electronics to make it move and glow. Learn how LEDs, a small fan, and a sensor can work together to create light and motion effects triggered by changes in the environment. Jules will guide you step‑by‑step through wiring, testing, and playful experimentation. Astrology 101: Learn Your Own ChartLifelong LearningYour natal chart shows the placement of the planets the moment you were born and can give much insight into who you are, your strengths and challenges, your desires and motivations, your karma and fate. Getting to know yourself through your chart can help nurture your whole self. You will learn to read your own chart and build a foundation in the ancient symbolic language of the stars. We will start with the basics: Descriptions of the attributes of the 12 signs of the ZodiacThe planets, and the 12 housesSquares, oppositions, trines and conjunctionsYou will learn how the chart is laid out, the importance of the house cusps and how to choose a house system.
