Swap It! How to Host a Swap Event

Swaps are community events that encourage reuse, keep usable items out of the waste stream, and help neighbors share resources while building stronger communities. Instructors will share their experiences hosting swap events, including lessons learned and logistical tips. This session is for individuals representing nonprofits, schools, clubs, businesses, and community groups in Hennepin County who are interested in hosting swap events. The class will include a mini swap to practice what is learned. Participants are invited to bring up to 5 home decor items they no longer want.
