Morning Math Team: Gr. 6-8

Competitive math. Competitions through MN Junior High Math League (MNJHML) and MATHCOUNTS. Five MNJHML competitions are held after school October – January and focus mostly on 8th grade Algebra 1 concepts. MATHCOUNTS is an extended season for select Math Team members, beginning immediately after MNJHML ends, with a much broader focus of math concepts reaching into the realms of Geometry, Probability, Counting, and Algebra 2.

It’s a great place for students who have a passion for math to get together and do math! We have lots of fun every week!

More information regarding competition schedule & competition registration fees will be known in late August. 2026-27

Registration Deadline

Registration for all class sessions closes 3 business days before the start date.

If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
