Felt Your Own Playful Pointed Red Hat - Intergenerational

Legend says the Nisse — those small, red‑hatted helpers of Scandinavian folklore — keep watch over the home, tending to chores and stirring up just enough mischief to stay interesting. In this class, you’ll felt your own pointed red hat in their spirited tradition. With warm water, wool, and your own two hands, you’ll coax soft fibers into a sculptural form that feels alive with character. Shape it tall and impish, or charmingly crooked — every hat has its own story. Along the way, you’ll learn essential wet‑felting techniques and discover how simple materials transform under pressure and play. You’ll leave with a finished hat ready for festivals, costumes, and everyday whimsy. 

12 years and older may attend with an adult. Both adult and child must register and pay. Over 15 may attend on their own.
