Savor Plant Based Power Bowls - Intergenerational
Discover how to build vibrant, nutrient-packed bowls that are as satisfying as they are beautiful. In this demonstration-style class, you’ll learn how to layer flavors, textures, and wholesome ingredients to create balanced vegetarian meals inspired by global cuisines.
We’ll prepare three delicious bowls: a hearty Lentil Bowl with Roasted Vegetables along with rice, greens and a refreshing cilantro yogurt sauce; a comforting Rice Noodle Bowl featuring sesame-ginger tofu and crisp greens drizzled with a rich Thai peanut sauce; and a wholesome Farro Buddha Bowl with teriyaki tempeh, roasted sweet potatoes, and a bright lemon tahini finish.
Along the way, you’ll pick up tips on roasting vegetables, preparing plant-based proteins, and creating flavorful sauces that bring everything together. Perfect for anyone looking to add easy, nourishing, plant-forward meals to their routine— just come ready to watch, learn, taste and be inspired.
10 years and older may attend with an adult. Both adult and child must register and pay. Over 15 may attend on their own.

Riku and Namrata Savor

Namrata and Riku’s culinary journey began in their family kitchens, where they mastered traditional techniques and recipes passed down through generations. They both have a passion for exploring and cooking a wide range of dishes from global cuisines. Recently retired from long corporate careers in Finance and IT, they are now dedicating their time to teaching others how to prepare authentic Indian cuisine and vegetarian dishes from around the world. With over 35 years of experience, they focus on helping people incorporate wholesome, vegetarian dishes into their diets while highlighting the nutritional benefits of various spices and ingredients.
Their warm and approachable teaching style makes their classes enjoyable for both beginners and experienced cooks. Whether you're mastering traditional Indian dishes, exploring flavors from around the world, or learning to create healthy and flavorful meals, Namrata and Riku will guide you every step of the way.
