Explore Edina A Stroll through History

The date for this event has been moved to September 26.

Join us for a walking tour that explores the rich and complex history of Edina. From its early days as a farming settlement to its evolution into a vibrant first-ring suburb, Edina has a fascinating story to tell—including chapters that are both inspiring and challenging. Learn about local architecture, hidden landmarks, and notable figures like B.C. Yancey. Discover what makes the Eastlake Style unique, and why part of the Edina Theater holds special historical significance. We’ll meet at the historic Cahill School and wrap up at 50th & France—come ready to walk, listen, and see Edina with fresh eyes. We welcome our younger learners who are paired with an adult learner.

Students ages 12+ are welcome to attend with an adult.  Both adult and child must register and pay.
