Functional Strength Yoga: Core, Balance & Everyday Movement

This yoga-based class emphasizes functional strength, core engagement, balance, and mobility to support how we move in everyday life. Participants will explore posture awareness, controlled transitions, and mindful strength work rather than fast-paced flow or passive stretching. The focus is on learning practical movement strategies that improve stability, confidence, and joint health. This class is appropriate for adults of varying fitness levels and is designed to be accessible, educational, and supportive. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. If not, your instructor will provide you with one. 

Ally Aletha

Ally Aletha is a certified yoga instructor and coach with two decades of experience teaching strength-based, functional movement classes for adult populations. Her approach blends yoga-based movement with an emphasis on core strength, balance, posture, and everyday mobility. Ally is known for creating welcoming, engaging classes that help participants feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies—both in class and in daily life.
