Level 1/Pre-Teen Ballet: Ages 8-14
| Build on your ballet foundation! Our classes combine creative exercises with fundamental ballet techniques, helping you develop motor skills, musicality, and a solid understanding of traditional ballet. Whether you’re new to ballet or have previous experience, you’re welcome to join us! |
| Learning basic, fundamental ballet movement and terminology through creative exercises, students will also develop age-appropriate motor skills and musicality (building on elements learned in Fundamentals I), while infusing elements that will prepare them for the traditional ballet class format. Fundamentals I is not a required prerequisite: new and returning students are welcome. |

Midwest School of Ballet is dedicated to developing a well rounded, versatile and whole dancer. We use methods designed to not only build strength and technical skill, but also encourage exploration, foster creativity, self-confidence and artistry. Classes are infused with terminology, history, and encourage students to see dance outside of the studio as well as be ambassadors and advocates for dance.
