Join the Edina Chess Club!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, our chess club offers a welcoming community and opportunities for growth. All levels welcome! Join us for weekly games and friendly competition.

What to expect:

Learn the basics: New players will learn the fundamental rules and strategies of chess.
Advance your skills: Experienced players will receive expert instruction to take their game to the next level.
Play competitively: Participate in tournaments (optional).
Develop essential skills: Learn to complete a full game, recognize stalemates, use a chess clock, and resolve disagreements.

Registration Deadline

Registration for all class sessions closes 3 business days before the start date.

If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
